Stephen Hudson
Stephen Hudson is the founding principal of the Hudson Group. Mr. Hudson has over 20 years of hospitality real estate consulting experience and has extensive knowledge in the underwriting and securitization of hotel loans. Mr. Hudson's experience includes expertise in many major US metropolitan and resort hotel markets including New York, Chicago, Miami, New Orleans, Honolulu, Maui, and the Caribbean. Prior to founding the Hudson Group in 1993, Mr. Hudson spent six years in the Los Angeles office of PKF Consulting, an affiliate of Pannell Kerr Forster International.
Mr. Hudson's education includes a Masters degree from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree from Oberlin College. In addition to his recent employment and educational background, Mr. Hudson has an extensive operational background in hotels. Mr. Hudson is a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC).
Henry Jones
Henry Jones has 20 years of experience in hospitality real estate consulting and, in addition to his role at the Hudson Group, is a founding partner in Kallenberger Jones & Co, a Los Angeles based consulting company specializing in development consulting and feasibility analysis. Mr. Jones spent five years in the hospitality industry-consulting group at Arthur Andersen & Co. While at Arthur Andersen, Mr. Jones specialized in consulting for international hotels and spent several months in Europe and the Caribbean evaluating resort properties. Mr. Jones has also held consulting positions with Berins & Co. (a hotel consulting firm which was acquired by Arthur Andersen in 1989) and Laventhol & Horwath.
Mr. Jones graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles and from Cornell University, where he received a Masters Degree in Hotel Administration. Mr. Jones is a visiting lecturer at the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management, Cal Poly Pomona and has taught courses in Hospitality Finance and Accounting.
Mr. Jones is a member, and past board member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC). Mr. Jones has experience in numerous national hotel markets including Southern California (Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Orange County, and Palm Springs); major Midwest markets (Indianapolis,Cincinnati, Detroit); Southwest markets (Phoenix, Santa Fe); and resort markets (Honolulu, Miami, and San Juan).
